Time for another dram!
A Single Malt Scotch Whisky aged in sherry seasoned oak casks.

A bit about
The Macallan celebrated their 200th anniversary in 2004, with 'A Night On Earth in Jerez' being the last of the commemorative releases. The beautiful gift box was designed by Jerez-born artist Maria Melero.
Aged in sherry seasoned American and European oak casks, The Macallan A Night on Earth in Jerez de la Frontera (2024 Edition) has a beautiful and natural dark amber colour and 43% ABV.
Time to try it

Nose: Ripe forest fruit, sweet raisins, oak
Palate: Honey, vanilla, white grapes, oak, cinnamon and a bit of spice
Finish: Long, sweet and warming

Pros and Cons
For me, the richness of the fruity aromas very well balanced with the sweetness, and the complete lack of peat make this whisky a very good one for sipping on warm summer nights.
Out of curiosity, I have tried it with a few drops of cold water, as well as with an ice cube, but for me, this flavourful whisky is best served neat.
The one downside I can see is that The Macallan A Night on Earth in Jerez de la Frontera is a limited edition, so I'm not sure how much of it you'll be able to find.

In Conclusion
Priced at around £105 on most UK websites, I think this Macallan is a beautiful whisky, great for sipping.
