Time for another dram!
A Blended Scotch Whisky matured in Sherry Casks, American Oak and ex-Bourbon Casks.

A bit about
Grant's Triple Wood 12 is a product of William Grant & Sons Ltd, a company which was founded in 1887 (the year which you can see on the bottle). The same company is also responsible for Glenfiddich, Tullamore D.E.W., and Balvenie, among others.
Aged for 12 years in Sherry Casks, American Oak, and ex-Bourbon Casks, The Triple Wood 12 has 40% ABV and has won Gold in 2022 and 2033 at the International Spirits Challenge and Gold in 2022 at the International Wine and Spirits Competition.

Time to try it
Nose: Pleasantly sweet with dried fruit and a bit of oak
Palate: Spice, vanilla, grains
Finish: Long with cereals and oak, quite dry towards the very end

Pros and Cons
The company's suggestion for serving the Grant's Triple Wood 12 is over ice, with of fresh slice/wedge/peel of orange, and so far I tend to agree with them.
It's alright neat, it's more refreshing overall over ice, but even better when you add a tiny bit of orange in the mix.
A highball with this whisky and a slice of orange is great as a summer drink.

In Conclusion
If you're looking for a flavourful blended whisky that works both for sipping and for delicious summer cocktails, then this might be one to try.
The Triple Wood 12 is priced around £33 on most UK websites, and can (sometimes) be found in some supermarkets such as Sainsbury's.
If you want to give the standard Triple Wood whisky a try (priced around £20), you can find it here.

As always, please drink responsibly.
