Time for another dram!
A 15-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled by One Cask at a Time.

A bit about
Launched in September, the Glentauchers 2009 is part of One Cask at a Time's Chronograph Collection, along with the Ben Nevis 2012. 271 bottles have been released. It was distilled on 03/04/2009 - cask no 800682.
The Glentauchers 15 is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky, non-chill-filtered, with a light gold natural colour and 56.9% ABV.

Time to try it!
Nose: Floral, light, with a bit of honey and white grapes
Palate: Honey sweetness with a floral perfume touch, white grape peel, lime peel
Finish: Medium with more floral, fresh notes and citrus.

Pros and Cons
Great for sipping neat, great with a drop or two of water, overall, it was quite a nicely balanced dram to enjoy. Delicate flavours, delicate aromas, very slight oiliness on the palate, nothing overpowering, and it feels significantly lighter than the stated ABV.

In Conclusion
Light on the palate, beautifully fragrant on the nose, with a nice mellow finish. Cannot fault it.
I was fortunate enough to attend the launch of One Cask at a Time's Collections in September, where I obtained the sample. If you're tempted to purchase a full-sized bottle, you can find it on One Cask at a Time's website, priced at £115.

As always, please drink responsibly.
