Time for another dram!
A 26-Year-Old Auchentoshan, bottled by One Cask at a Time

A bit about
The only one so far in the Pendulum Collection, The Auchentoshan 26, was distilled on 10/02/1998, aged in a single oak cask, with 146 bottles being produced. It is non-chill-filtered, it has a natural gold colour, and 59.2% ABV.

Time to try it!
Nose: Floral and very lightly fruity
Palate: Beautiful mouthfeel, slightly oily, citrusy, tart, and a bit grassy towards the end
Finish: Medium, delicately floral and a bit peppery

Pros and Cons
Priced at £375 on the One Cask at a Time website, it's certainly an interesting dram to sample.
It's beautifully light, with quite a number of delicate layers, all balanced quite neatly with a pleasant sweetness. The ABV might look high on paper, but you can't feel any harshness on the palate, just a slight pepperiness.

As always, please drink responsibly.
