Time to try it!

Nose: Overripe pineapple with walnuts, a bit of crystallised ginger and melon (cantaloupe)

Palate: Nutty (walnuts mainly) with layers of citrus (lime and lemon peel), oak spice, ground black pepper and coffee

Finish: The oak and coffee linger in the long and slightly dry finish.

Pros and Cons

First impression of the palate: it is very generous when it comes to its richness, mouthfeel, and amount of flavours, some more gentle than others.

It's a very fun dram to sample. It has layers and layers of delicate notes, some of which come out to play if you leave the glass to breathe for a bit.

Priced at £750 on their website, you can sometimes find it here as well for slightly less (£625 - August 2026).

In all honesty, it is a very lovely dram to try, but I'm sure the price point will keep quite a few people away from picking up a bottle.
