A bit about

Part of the Spirit of the Game Collection, along with the USA and Canada Editions, the Mexico Edition is a Single Malt London Whisky first matured in a 1st-fill Ex-Bourbon American Oak Cask and finished in a Tequila Cask.

248 Bottles were released of this Bimber Mexico Edition (CASK REF. 382/56). It has 56.9% ABV; it is non-chill filtered and has a natural, light golden colour.

 Time to try it!

Nose: Delicately sweet, with fresh lime peel, fresh-cut grass, and light oak notes, with quite a lot of floral notes that become more apparent the longer you leave the glass to breathe.

Palate: Quite an oily mouthfeel with lime juice and lemon peel, along with some ripe tropical fruit

Finish: Medium-long, herbal with some unripe orchard fruit and bitter almond

Pros and Cons

You can really feel the tequila cask influence as soon as you nose the whisky. It's pretty noticeable on the palate as well, but definitely heavier on the nose.

It's fantastic for sipping, especially during the warmer months; The fruity, floral and herbal notes are very well balanced, and it coats the palate nicely, leaving you with a lovely light and herbal aftertaste.

In Conclusion

It was released in June 2026, and it was priced at £98 if bought on its own on Bimber's official website, or £348 if bought as part of the trio, in a hand-numbered matching box set.

Overall, I can't fault it; it's a lovely sipping whisky with many delicious layers to offer.
