Their hand-crafted approach to whisky making (and not only), as well as their use of traditional methods, certainly sets them apart from other newer distilleries.
Being one of the very few to floor-malt their barley, which is sourced from a single farm (not something very common nowadays), as well as using direct fire instead of steam to heat the small copper pot stills, certainly has an impact on their final products, and by the looks of it, a very good one.

The Bimber Distillery Tour, or Whisky Connoisseur Experience, takes roughly 2 hours and takes you through all the stages of whisky making.
Once you go through all the processes involved, you get to sample quite a few of their whiskies, including the new-make spirit.
Whether you're a seasoned whisky enthusiast, very new to the world of whisky or just curious about it, I'm sure you're going to leave the tour knowing a whole lot more about the subject, certainly happy with the whiskies you've tried and curious about any of their new releases.

Overall, this has been one of the best whisky tours I've been on in quite a while.
The amount of information offered both about whisky making in general and in particular, about Bimber was more than what I would expect from any distillery tour. The whiskies you get to sample at the end, along with the presentation, are fantastic, making this a must-do when in London.
If you want to give their whiskies a go, you can find some here.

*Massive thank you to Bimber's Brand Ambassador, Luke, for a fantastic tour and for putting up with all my questions and interruptions.
