Time to try it

Nose: Citrusy (mainly orange) but delicate on the nose with a bit of honey

Palate: Dryer on the palate than expected, with some apricot and spice

Finish: Medium finish, dry, with oak and a bit more spice

Pros and Cons

For me, this one lacks the richness and complexity on the palate I look for in a whisky for sipping. Nothing specifically wrong with it, just a bit too light for me, that's all.

As much as it is pretty decent neat or with a bit of ice, adding it to cocktails seems to be most people's preferred option of enjoying this whisky.

It's great in a Whisky Sour, Old Fashioned, Rob Roy, Boulevardier or any other cocktail you can think of.

In Conclusion

If you're looking for a sipping whisky, just bear in mind it's quite light and delicate, but if you're looking for a whisky for your cocktails, this might be a good one for you.

If you want to give this whisky a try, you can usually find it here
