Time for another dram!
A Heavily Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottled for Milroy's of Soho.
A vatting of Virgin Oak (40%) and First-fill Bourbon Casks (60%), this Single Malt whisky has 61.1% ABV, it is non-chill-filtered and has a natural colour.
It was bottled in Scotland for Milroy's.

Time to try!
Nose: Sweet and heavily peated, as expected
Palate: A bit of vanilla and cherry sweetness with layers and layers of peat
Finish: Long, with burnt toast, some coconut, citrus and cracked black pepper

Pros and Cons
For me, it's overall pretty nicely balanced. Don't get me wrong, it certainly is heavily peated as described, but the other notes make themselves seen enough through the dense smoke for it to be highly palatable even for those a bit more picky when it comes to peated whisky.
I prefer it with a couple of drops of cold water, but it's enjoyable neat as well.
It's great in cocktails and Peated Whisky Chocolate Cookies, but I've honestly not had it for too long to experiment with, as it went down pretty quickly.
In Conclusion
Priced at £47.95, it's a pretty decent dram to try
You can find this one, and quite a few more, on their website
