Birchbox (The Subscription Box Series)
Updated: Jun 18
I've seen a lot of advertising for Birchbox, I was running low on some cosmetic products so I thought I'd try it out for myself. Plus, as you might know by now if you've been reading this blog, I like a good subscription box; it's a bit of excitement and a lot of the time you get great products for a low price.
This box gives you 5 beauty treats every month, delivered to your doorstep. In the UK it's £12.95 including delivery and I personally think it's worth it. You get high quality products which you might not necessarily want to spend a lot of money on just so you can try them. This way you might find something you've been looking for at a more than reasonable price.
What you see here is the May Box, I'm still waiting on the June one, but I can't blame them for being a bit slower than usual with all the Coronavirus madness going on. When the June one arrives I'll add another unboxing, you can be sure of that.
I love the box itself and I will definitely be reusing it to keep small cosmetics in and I definitely like the products. Here's what my May box contained:
Manna Kadar - Lash Blast Bloom Mascara - Got to choose between pink and blue packaging
Balance Me - PHa Clarifying Mist - Love it!
Caudalie - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum - Makes your skin feel fresh
Rituals - The Ritual of Karma Body Cream - Haven't tried it yet
Luxliss - Argan and Marula Conditioner - Smells lovely
Out of all of them 'Balance Me' PHA Clarifying Mist is definitely a winner for me. It's antibacterial and calms down blemishes so for my type of skin it's great - I'm definitely getting this one as soon as it runs out. I'll be honest with you, before I got this in the Box, I didn't know it existed, but I'm happy I found it.
The June box finally arrived and I'm more than pleased with it.
This one had:
Patchology - Rejuvenating Eye Patches
Winky Lux - Peeper Perfect Concealer (lovely texture, perfect colour for me)
Beauty Protector - Protect and Detangle (Smells absolutely divine)
Real Chemistry - Luminous 3-minute peel (works wonders, makes the skin feel incredibly smooth)
Magnitone WipeOut! - Eco-Friendly Microfibre Cleansing Cloth (This is the best cleansing cloth I've tried in a while)
The July box arrived and I still haven't gone through all the items from the June one, so a Review for all of them coming soon!
This one had:
Beautypro - Coconut Sheet Mask
Ciate London - Watermelon Burst Hydrating Primer
Polaar - Sun Lotion SPF 50+ Very High Protection fragrance-free
Philip Kingsley - Flaky/Itchy Shampoo
Dr Paw Paw - Balm in Hot Pink
Below you can see the August, September and November 2020 boxes.
I hope life is treating you well.
