Time for another drink!
A small-batch Pot Still gin produced and bottled in Romania.

A bit about
Wolf Pack Elixir Twenty Gin has 40% ABV and a natural greenish colour. Produced and bottled in Romania by Magura Zamfirei Distillery, it was made using a selection of twenty aromatic herbs, including juniper, pine buds, elderflower, blueberries and green wheat.

Time to try it!
Nose: full of flavour and sweetness, with chamomile, berries, elderflower, and pine predominantly
Palate: Some bitterness mixed with the sweet notes, with more chamomile, juniper and lemon zest.
Finish: Herbal, lingering, overall quite fresh

Pros and Cons
I'm a big fan of the artwork on both the bottle and the gift box.
Priced at around £45, it's certainly a unique small-batch gin to try. It goes well with an elderflower tonic and a slice of lemon, and it's great in cocktails.
A Corpse Reviver No. 2 made with this gin is highly delicious (¾ ounce dry gin, ¾ ounce Lillet Blanc, ¾ ounce Cointreau, ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice, a dash of absinthe (used to rinse the glass), lemon twist or orange peel for garnish)
As with most small-batch products, the downside is that you might not find it as readily available as you would like, but whether you find this exact one or something else from their range, they're certainly an up-and-coming brand to keep an eye on.
In the UK, Romaniandrinks.co.uk are the ones importing the Wolf Pack gins, and you can find some by clicking/tapping here.

As always, please drink responsibly.
