Time for another dram!
A Blended 12-Year-Old Scotch Whisky

A bit about
Johnnie Walker Black Label has 40% ABV, is chill-filtered and uses caramel colouring for its deep golden colour. It is made of single malts and grain whiskies, aged for a minimum of 12 years.
Throughout the years, it has won quite a number of awards: Silver in 2014,2017 and 2019 at the International Wine & Spirit Competition, Gold in 2020 at the International Spirits Challenge and Gold in 2019 and 2020 at The Scotch Whisky Masters (The Spirits Business), just to name a few.

Time to try it
Nose: Dried fruit with a hint of smoke, oak and vanilla
Palate: Sweet, spicy, overall quite pleasant
Finish: Medium, citrusy, oaky, with a bit of smoke

Pros and Cons
If you're looking for an easy-going, reasonably priced blended whisky to use in cocktails, this might be the answer for you.
If you just want to enjoy a quick dram and don't have high expectations, then it will be a pretty good whisky to try, but if you're looking for a rich, full-bodied whisky great for sipping, then I would probably suggest a few others, especially Single Malts.

In Conclusion
Overall, it's a bit smoky, a bit sweet and has a bit of flavour, but not enough of anything for me to want to come back to it.
I have nothing against it, but as a big fan of Single Malts or highly flavorful (preferably fruitier) blends, I can't honestly say I'm the biggest fan of this one.
Priced around £30 on most UK websites, I think the Johnnie Walker Black Label is worth trying, even if just out of curiosity.
