A bit about
Based in Los Altos de Jalisco, Casa Loy officially launched their brands - Casa Loy Tequila, TADDEL and Tierra Zafino in 2022.
Made from 100% Blue Agave, the Anejo Tequila from Casa Loy has 38% ABV and was aged for a minimum of 18 months in a mix of American White Oak Barrels and ex-Bourbon Barrels.

Time to try it!
Nose: Rich and sweet, with toasted wood, coffee and vanilla
Palate: Dark chocolate and peach, along with more coffee and vanilla
Finish: Medium, with lingering coffee and oak
Pros and Cons
It's a nice sipping tequila, great over ice, and it works great in cocktails such as Margarita, Old Fashioned, Highball, Manhattan, and Mexican Mule. I recently made a watermelon Margarita using this Anejo Tequila, and it was way better than expected. I also recommend a Highball with ginger beer.
*My go-to spirit is always whisky, so if you find my way of writing tasting notes for tequila perhaps a bit strange, please bear in mind this little detail.

As always, please drink responsibly.
