Time for another drink!
Amarguinha Original - a bitter almond liqueur from the Algarve Region of Portugal

A bit about
It has 20% ABV and a decadently sweet, bitter almond aroma. For me, the Amarguinha is exactly what I expected from a Bitter Almond Liqueur - highly almondy, flavourful and sweet but surprisingly fresh.
It can be served as a digestif, an aperitif, in cocktails, or, most commonly for me - poured over ice, with some lemon juice and a slice or two of lemon.
It's just as tasty with an orange, grapefruit or lime slice - as long as it's citrusy, it seems to pair pretty well.

In Conclusion
For me, the Amarguinha served over ice with some citrus is a refreshing spring & summer drink, but if you're not a fan of almonds, marzipan, sweet drinks and the like, then this one most certainly won't be for you.
The 20cl bottle is priced around £10 on most UK websites, with the 70cl one being somewhere between £23 and £30.
It’s a fantastic almond liqueur to keep on hand for cocktails and makes for a perfect home bar staple. Plus, if you find yourself passing through a Portuguese airport, it’s a classic souvenir to pick up.
This one is available in 5cl, 20cl or 70cl. Other options are available, such as Amarguinha Lemon, Creamy Bitter Almond & Chocolate Liqueur, Amarguinha Cremosa Almond and Caramel Tart and Amarguina Creme, but I have yet to try these variants, so I cannot advise.

As always, please drink responsibly.
