A moderate difficulty, 3 to 4 hour circular trail (9km/ 5.5 miles) featuring Sgwd Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd Isaf Clun-Gwyn, Sgwd y Pannwr, and Sgwd yr Eira - the four main waterfalls in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales.

Located in the 'Waterfall Country' area of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Four Waterfalls Walk is a must-do/must-see when in Wales.
What makes this one so special?
This circular walk takes you through the beautiful woodland and deep gorges of the Waterfall Country area, treating you to four mesmerising waterfalls:
Sgwd Clun-Gwyn (Fall of the White Meadow)
Sgwd Isaf Clun-Gwyn (Lower Fall of the White Meadow)
Sgwd y Pannwr (Fall of the Fuller)
Sgwd-yr-Eira (Fall of the Snow)

How to get there
There are two pay and display car parks near the walk - Cwm Porth (CF44 9JE), which is closest to the start of the walk and Gwaun Hepste (CF44 9JF).
Not sure if both are cash-only or if they take any card payments (please be prepared for both), but either way, parking for the full day is around £5-6.
The trail can get quite busy, especially on the weekends and bank holidays, so please try and arrive as early as possible for a better chance at finding a parking spot and a less crowded trail.

Good to know:
There are quite a few muddy and slippery areas as well as uneven terrain, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear (ideally sturdy boots with a good grip).
Please also pack plenty of water and perhaps a few snacks, as there are no places where you can purchase these anywhere near.
There are a few toilets at the car park, and no toilets at the waterfalls
This trail is not accessible for wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Chances of you being all alone on this walk are quite slim, considering how popular it is, but even if that's the case, there are markers everywhere (from start to finish) to guide you.

A highlight for many on this beautiful walk is the magnificent Sgwd-yr-Eira (see below). Here, you can actually walk behind the curtain of water, but if you're prepared for a bit of a scramble and some spray, it's certainly an unforgettable experience.
