The Romanian Athenaeum, home of the 'George Enescu' Philharmonic Society and the 'George Enescu Festival', is a prominent Bucharest landmark.

Opening times and admission
Open only during certain days which vary month by month (usually from 9 am to 12 or 18 pm), but please check their official website here, as the visiting schedule gets updated monthly.
An entry ticket is 15 Lei and can be purchased on site with cash only.

This beautiful concert hall, located in the centre of Romania's capital, opened in 1888 as a venue for classical music and other cultural and artistic events.
Since then, it has become the home of the George Enescu Philharmonic, Romania's oldest symphonic orchestra.
