It all started with Baby Yoda. If you're familar with Disney's 'The Mandalorian' you know what I'm talking about and even if you haven't seen the show, chances are quite high that you might have seen the cute creature in one meme or another. I was looking for 'Baby Yoda' t-shirts or something of the kind and Monthly Tee seemed to be doing exactly what I was looking for.
I'm skeptical when it comes to ordering any type of clothes online because, in my case, more often than not, they don't fit very well and I hate having to send things back. I'll be honest, a different T-shirt every month as a subscription service isn't something I've ever thought about but their offer seemed reasonable so I thought I'd give it a go.
The standard Kit Package works like this :
Price: T-shirt £9.99 plus delivery £1.99. (So basically £12)
T-shirt is 100% cotton ( The skin can breathe! Yay! )
You can cancel the contract anytime so if you change you mind it's ok, you haven't signed up for the next year with no way out.
The package fits through the letterbox, so you don't need to worry about being home in time for delivery.
They donate to charity every month (We need more companies to do this!)
As you can see below, their packaging is great. It's literally a t-shirt in a box. There's no extra bits of plastic that would end up in a bin, just the t-shirt in a recyclable cardboard box. Simple, efficient, no hassle. Recycling is great but I would prefer not having too many things to recycle in the first place.
Unlike Degusta box, Monthly Tee isn't as full of surprises since you can choose in advance which design you want to have for that month. You get to pick favorite topics and interests you might want to see printed and every month there are different designs to choose from. I've been told that if you don't choose, a random one will be sent to you but I prefer to know, I'm not the biggest fan of surprises, definitely not when it comes to clothes. You can also choose between slim fit and standard for your type of T-shirt. I went with slim fit and it's way better than I expected.
These are the designs I've chosen so far. Yes, I am aware that the T-shirts are more than reasonably wrinkly and they're here as an example of what you can get as well as of my willingness to iron (or just dry better) on time for the 'photoshoot'.
P.S. I wear the one above when I'm cleaning my house, it gives me strength to carry on.
I hope life is treating you well.
Take care.
